PANDORA E. PALMER was born in Atlanta, Georgia on December 12, 1965. She was raised in Fayette County, Georgia and graduated from Fayette County High School in 1983. She graduated from University of Georgia in 1988 with a B.A. degree in Criminal Justice. She then attended Georgia State University College of Law where she received a J.D. degree, graduating in 1994. She was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1994, the Hawaii Bar in 2001, and is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Hawaii State Bar, the Clayton County Bar Association, the Henry County Bar Association, the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, The Georgia Association of Women Lawyers, the Atlanta Lawyers Club, Henry County Women in Business, and Gamma Phi Beta Sorority.
Prior to becoming a manager with Smith, Welch, Webb & White, LLC, she worked for the firm of Smith, Welch & Brittain, LLP, from 2004 until May 2011, and had become a partner of Smith, Welch & Brittain, LLP, in 2005. Prior to that, from 1994 to 1999, Mrs. Palmer was employed in private practice specializing in the areas of family law, criminal law, juvenile law, personal injury and civil litigation. From 2000 to 2001, Mrs. Palmer was employed with Domestic Violence Clearinghouse and Legal Hotline in Maui, Hawaii and upon becoming licensed in Hawaii in 2001, became Supervising Attorney for the Maui Office. She specialized in family law cases involving victims of domestic violence. From 2002 to 2003, Mrs. Palmer was in private practice with the law firm of Millar, Mixon, and Hunt.
Mrs. Palmer has had extensive training in the area of domestic violence and served on the board for the Clayton County Association Against Family Violence, Inc. from January 2002 to 2008. She has been currently serving on the Board of Directors for Southern Regional Medical Center since 2008.
Mrs. Palmer is married to Keith Palmer and has one daughter, Tiffany Terry and a stepson, Jake Palmer. In her free time, she enjoys ice skating, skiing, softball, and tennis and attends First Baptist Church of Jonesboro.
