LARRY SCOTT MAYFIELD was born May 31, 1970 in Griffin, Spalding County, Georgia. He attended Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, and graduated in 1992. He graduated from Mercer University Law School in 1999 and was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1999.  He is a member of the Towaliga Bar Association and past-president of the Griffin Bar Association.

Mr. Mayfield manages the Barnesville office which opened in November, 2003. He is the past president of the Barnesville Rotary Club, a member of the Kiwanis Club, and he is Vice-Chairman of the Barnesville-Lamar County Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Mayfield is the Lamar County Administrator, Guardian and Conservator. He is the attorney for Lamar County, the City of Milner, the City of Hampton, the Housing Authority for the City of Griffin and the Lamar County Solid Waste Authority.

Mr. Mayfield is married to Heather Mayfield.  The Mayfields are active in the First Baptist Church of Barnesville.
