Elizabeth, a Griffin, Georgia native, graduated from Griffin High School prior to attending Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, Georgia where she earned her B.S. in Psychology.
Elizabeth attended Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law where she received the CALI Award for Academic Excellence and was on the Dean’s List. She served as the fundraising chair for the Association of Women Law Students and as Chair of the Mercer Advocacy Council, and received the James C. Estes Award in recognition of her outstanding performance in Moot Court competition. Elizabeth earned her Juris Doctor degree and a certificate in Advanced Legal Writing, Research and Drafting in 2011.
Prior to graduating law school, Elizabeth interned for Griffin Judicial Circuit Superior Court Judge Tommy R. Hankinson, the Georgia Justice Project, and the law firm of Smith, Welch & Brittain, LLP. Elizabeth was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2011 and began as an associate with Smith, Welch, Webb & White, LLC, at that time. Elizabeth’s practice focuses on Adoption, Divorce and Family Law issues.
Elizabeth serves as the President for the Henry County Bar Association and as the Chairperson for the Henry County United Way Campaign. She is also a member of the Jackson-Butts County Rotary Club, the Henry County Kiwanis Club, and active in the Morning Glory Garden Club in Griffin where she lives with her husband, John.
