Miranda Hanley grew up in the small town of Toccoa, Georgia. After graduating from Stephens County High School in 2008, Miranda went on the attend Kennesaw State University. While at Kennesaw State, Miranda competed in local and national mock trial competitions, was on the Dean’s List and President’s List, was a member of Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society, cheered on the Owl’s Spirit Cheerleading Squad, and served as Social Chairwoman for the Zeta Omega Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta International Sorority. After graduating from Kennesaw State University in May of 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, Miranda then went on to attend Faulkner University, Jones School of Law in Montgomery, Alabama.
Miranda received her Juris Doctor from Faulkner University, Jones School of Law a semester early and in the top 20% of her class. While at Faulkner Law, Miranda was on the Dean’s List and also received the CALI Award for Best Paper in Remedies, Advanced Criminal Procedure, Federal Crimes, and Family law. Miranda also competed on the mediation competition team, served as a BARBRI Student Representative, was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity, and served on the Board of Advocates. Miranda also completed a Judicial Clerkship with the 15th Judicial Circuit Court of Alabama. It was also during her time at Faulkner Law that Miranda’s dream of winning a national mock trial title came to fruition when she assisted her team in bringing home First Place at the National Civil Mock Trial Competition in Tallahassee, Florida in March of 2014.
Miranda is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Georgia, Henry County Bar Association, and the National Association of Consumer Advocates (“NACA”).
